Parachuting at the Military World Games

first_img I like this game and I want to learn. By Dialogo July 15, 2011 Parachuting includes three types of events: accuracy, formation, and freefall. At the Military World Games, there will only be accuracy and freefall formation competitions. In freefall formation, during a fall of thirty-five seconds, the competitors must perform the highest number of figures from a sequence previously determined by lot. Each team consists of five skydivers, with the fifth member being the cameraman, who records the jump and turns over the images to the judges of the event. In accuracy jumping, the competitor must land with one heel on a target two centimeters in diameter. This jump is made from an altitude of 3,600 feet, approximately 1,200 meters. last_img
