LOS ANGELES – The arraignment for four suspects in a 2004 robbery spree in the Whittier and San Gabriel Valley area that left two men dead was continued to Nov. 13. Jose Resendez, 30, Leonardo Cisneros, 23, Mitzie Oso, 28, and Sara Lopez, 25, appeared Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Deputy District Attorney Robert Grace said he is trying to get some of the defendants to consider a plea bargain. Both sides have been in discussion, he added. He said the DA’s Office would probably seek the death penalty on one or two of the suspects.
